Dear Kimmy,
If there is one thing about moving house, it’s that one takes a stroll down memory lane and discovers notes, diaries, birthday cars and love letters....
You made me a splendid looking birthday card in the year 2007 – we were 16 years old. Here’s what you wrote in one page:
Through thick & thin...
Tears & joy....
Fats & bones...
We’ll always be sistas... yeah?
Remember?
Friends on EARTH
Sisters in HEAVEN!
Halleluiah! Hahaha!
Blur or not blur;
Fat or not fat...
Scary or not scary...
You’ll always be the same to me.
Love you,
Sunny fuzzy!

I’ll be going off to Aussie very soon. Will miss all the times we spent together. Through fat or bones (lolx...) we’ll always be best friends, I don’t think we’ll ever be apart Zoe. I think we’ll still be bffs till we grow up. Distance....er....the distance between us cannot draw us apart. Hmmmm.... you know what I mean. You DO right? *hold knife to Zoe’s throat* ahaha. Have fun Zoe. Study hard for SPM, promise? You HAVE to be kiasu to survive.
After analysing this, I've come to realise that you put the word "fat" in a lot and it's comparison, "thin" "bones"... were you trying to hint or send out a powerful message?! really kim.
and more importantly, yes we are still bffs. whether you like it or not!
:)
I thought that mum would kill me this time for being fat or putting on weight but apparently I've lost weight. i believe it's the stress since i hardly exercised. oh and when i did - like play tennis with SY - it was also stressful because he bullies me now with his newfound powerful serves that he likes to smash on the court. sigh. and then he laughs when i get agitated about it. he's so cute.
I went for lunch today at a friends house and guess what was written on her shirt? These awesome words, "Explain to me again why i need a boyfriend". I thought that was so cool. that rocks. independent. i like that word. i know you like it too but i must say you seem to be having a 'fun' serious relationship with the Tepper. good for you.
as I was browsing through my stuff, i also picked up something cousin Mike left me. i think he wrote you a thank you card as well. remember those days we used to go to youth every saturday night? the songs we sang, the stuff we did, the games we played. we were so young and so fresh. so ready for the big world.
well this is what Mike wrote, i want to record it for memory sake.
Dear Cuz Zoe,
No matter what you are going through, I believe that nothing can hinder God’s wonderful plan in your life, just have to trust and receive...
You’ve always been encouraging in your own loving ways, keep that fire for God glowing, don’t let it burn out. Will miss you in the leadership but will never count you out.
Remember to pursue love and forgiveness.
Love, Michael.
that's about it for this letter. have a great day. i'll see you soon... someday.
xoxo
